Airbnb > Hotels
Airbnb beats hotels hands down. This hit me after my first Airbnb stay in 2013 — a private room in San Francisco's Nob Hill. It was a refreshing change from the usual tourist spots, tucked away from the chaos of Union Square and Market Street. Funny enough, it was just two blocks from where my future wife lived (though I had no clue at the time).
